"Will delegates to the GOP convention change America for the better by thinking outside the box?"

Upon realizing I had made a huge mistake voting for Jimmy Carter, I began studying national politics, focusing on 1840 to present day and vowing not to make a similar mistake.
“America is at a crossroads”, is not just an election year slogan. Today we are at a crossroads. And we are not facing good choices.
We must elect a President who is truly capable, an effective leader who will honor the oath of office to the United States Constitution. Our next President must be intelligent, wise, and committed to serving our country – a person like the one who gave this commencement speech at the University of Texas: http://www.businessinsider.com/mcraven-best-commencement-speech-university-texas-2015-4.
Retired Admiral William “Bill” McRaven, a former Navy Seal, delivered this address in 2014 to huge national acclaim. While the subject of his speech may not be profoundly complicated, I urge you to read it – and then watch him deliver it in the video link. Afterwards, think about what you read and watched with your own eyes. What you saw in those 18-minutes was a leader, a man of skill, and strength and wisdom, one with tremendous real world experiences of America’s capabilities and role in the world, a man who has already made a big difference and who has the vision to see what our people need.
Then read his bio: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_H._McRaven. That’s the bio of a leader – competent, compassionate, knowledgeable, and very, very effective – the kind of person America deserves in the White House, indeed, the kind we need in the White House.
Although not many people are as qualified as Bill McRaven, there are a few, and every single one of them is eligible for the GOP nomination after the first vote fails to elect a nominee.
The result of our normal process of nominating and electing the President of the United States has been seven years of malaise under Obama Inc., another among the failed presidencies we have seen too often since Lincoln. America needs a success.
We have a choice. Continue down the same old path for nominating and electing a President, or change America for the better by bringing forth a leader with real dedication and experience. When the first vote fails to nominate one of the candidates, the GOP delegates can simply nominate someone better, someone like Admiral Bill McRaven, or even the Admiral himself.
Tell the GOP delegates. It’s time to think out of the box.
